THE NEXT ENTERPRISE
The Next Enterprise is an architectural firm based in Vienna, established by Marie-Therese Harnoncourt-Fuchs and Ernst J. Fuchs. Their portfolio encompasses a diverse array of projects, spanning specific construction tasks, installations, exhibition designs, and experimental interventions in urban spaces, extending to comprehensive urban planning concepts.
One of their notable strengths lies in the innovative reimagining of spaces and room concepts, often presenting them in novel and unexpected ways. Their approach ensures that a space’s true function emerges only when in use, yet it retains flexibility for future needs and unforeseen developments that cannot be anticipated. Now, the challenge is to encapsulate this strength in a fresh visual identity—a task that is by no means easy. However, easy isn’t what we’re after. We thrive on challenges. Let’s embrace it and make it happen.
Initially, the focus was on establishing a design rhythm for all elements: font, color, image, and space, in relation to one another. The resulting aesthetic logic is subsequently implemented across various touchpoints of the brand.
Through the creation of a dynamic identity, we’ve successfully imbued the architectural office with a visual representation that mirrors the diversity of its projects. The graphic persona of the office now mirrors the versatility of its founders. Whether it’s the web, business cards, or portfolio, the logo and color scheme seamlessly adjust to the specific format. This adaptable identity adds a playful touch without overshadowing their projects. After all, it’s ultimately about The Next Enterprise, the conceptualized, the created, and the built.
