Vienna Stock Exchange
Last year, the Vienna Stock Exchange celebrated its 250th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we further developed the existing corporate identity and corporate design, including the logo, as well as a future oriented positioning.
Well now, a year later, it was all about combining the anniversary design, which received very high approval on the market, with the corporate design we developed two years ago. “Delivering the future since 1771.” became “Delivering a world of good deals.” With all eyes on the future.
The new branding is based on two old companions of every stock exchange. The Bull and the Bear. Brief training: the bull represents rising stocks. The bear, on the other hand, falling stocks. It is obviously not surprising that the bear mainly appears in the background. But what if these two symbols are treated equally? After all, without falling stocks, there would not be rising stocks. Makes sense.
That is why the bear, and the bull are equal in our new branding for the Vienna Stock Exchange. A modern thought that is also reflected in the key visual. Shades in the new, fresh and modern color world with petrol and golden-brown underline the intersectional aspects of the symbolism. In line with the key visual, we developed a sculpture together with 3D artist Nick Grambacher, which will be exhibited in the foyer of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The Bear and the Bull. The stock market’s eternal companion. With us, almost hand in hand, so to speak.
