The fact that the 2020 COVID crisis has raised a multitude of challenges is undeniable.

The creative industry in particular had to adapt and find new ways to reach audiences. But where there is a will, there is a way and brand unit is always willing to develop new concepts. For the exhibition SHOW OFF. Austrian Fashion Design at the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts, curated by Ulrike Tschabitzer Handler, the challenge was to make the themes of the exhibition digitally accessible. So in no time, we created a concept, produced and shot Show Off Stories, a 7-part fashion web series.

For every episode, hosted by singer Ankathie Koi, experts and journalists from our international network were invited to take part in online discussions via Zoom.

Welt am Sonntag journalist Adriano Sack, designer Stefano Pilati, fashion journalist Brigitte R. Winkler, editor-in-chief of Achtung Magazin Markus Ebner, Net-a-Porter product editor Harry Weiler, designer Flora Miranda and others discuss fashion-specific topics such as fashion & technology, fashion & photography or Rudi Gernreich. Every episode closes with featured music by Buntspecht, Dives, Maraskino and Ankathie Koi herself. Accompanying the series, brand unit ran specifically created social media campaigns on Instagram and Facebook. Simultaneously, these campaigns were also featured on the partner platforms CO-Vienna, MAK and Vienna Business Agency.
