Now, let’s get a bit medical. Avancell is a chain of practices in Austria aiming to establish itself as a pioneer in joint preservation and cartilage restoration.

Their goal is to preserve joints for as long as possible, thereby avoiding the need for prostheses. Avancell exclusively uses minimally invasive treatment methods based on effective regenerative medicine techniques, such as autologous stem cells from adipose tissue or bone marrow, shock wave treatments, and platelet-rich plasma.

A central concern for the branding was to build trust and alleviate fears. Therefore, the branding aims to convey Avancell’s scientific expertise while simultaneously creating a sense of security for patients

Surgical procedures—whether minimally invasive or not—are anxiety-inducing for many people. The art direction of the imagery and video content conveys a sense of comfort and empathy through warm colors, making patients feel well cared for. Procedures and therapies are illustrated with minimalist designs, while rounded corners and reddish-orange tones create a design system that reflects Avancell’s values. So, in short: Our branding combines scientific know-how with an empathetic design.
